Nokia Seeks Location Heaven With New Ovi Maps

Nokia Recently made turn by turn GPS navigation available for free on ten of its top smart phones, a move that is bound to affect companies as TomTom and Garmin.
The application is both walking and driving and maps are compatible with 10 handsets, offer 2D and 3D mapping, and load onto the smart phone either through PC preloaded or on the air, so good thing no network connections needed and no charges incurred, especially when roaming.

In future the maps will be pre-loaded on every GPS-enabled handset sold from March 2010.
